Sorcerer or Elementalist
Sorcerers, also known as elemental mages, study magic of the elements. Most wizards and witches are born with an affinity towards one of the eight known elements. This natural connection allows them to harness the elemental forces around them, as if mutually binding themselves to environmental characteristics for beneficial gain and control. No single individual has ever been able to connect with and wield more than one element in their lifetime. All elements are cast through the user's hands, sometimes using wands or staffs for better precision.
Most Sorcerers are well educated, learning their craft through effective schooling or personal training. Becoming a Sorcerer takes a lot of commitment, thus many who specialize as a Sorcerer have little time or energy to dabble in other forms of wizarding magic.
It has been recorded that the sorcerer population are pretty evenly spread out among the eight elements (air, water, electricity, fire, ice, ground, plant and poison).

1. Air Mage
Air Mages have the ability to shape and manipulate air, the layer of gases and compounds surrounding the planet, mostly involving oxygen and nitrogen. This ability is referred to as Air Manipulation. Air Manipulation allows the user to form soft breezes, whirlwinds, strong tornadoes or hurricanes, etc. The more atmospheric pressure needed the more exertion it requires and the more difficult it is to control.

Aerial Dash
- An ability where the user can propel oneself in a short dash using air pressure. These short dashes can be done in a mid-air jump, giving off a slight illusion of temporary flight.
- The ability to hit oneself with air and controlling their balance and movements is much harder than it seems. A graceful Aerial Dash is never easy to master.
- The ability to carry small objects with wind. This becomes more difficult or simply unlikely the heavier the object is.
- One must focus air pressure on to a specific object, trying not to let the wind effect anything else around it.
- This ability can also help an individual lift heavy object, perhaps making the object feel much lighter than it really is, though the consistent concentration to do so could take a lot of energy.
- An extremely difficult ability which compresses air into tight spheres that can be thrown, exploding on contact and creating a blast of wind.
- With practice a user can detonate the bombs at will or have them orbit the user with Aero-Telekinesis until ready for use.
- Air Bomb is an ability that takes a lot of energy to perform and is only known to be professionally used by the exceptionally skilled.
- All Air Mages have the natural immunity to paralysis.
2. Water Mage
Water Mages have the ability to shape and manipulate liquid water in already water existing areas, known as a water source. This ability is referred to as Water Manipulation. Larger volumes of water require more exertion and become more difficult to control. The distance between the user and the source of water has a similar effect, requiring more energy from the user the farther they are. Every individual has their own limits involving distance and size of their water manipulation ability. Water Manipulation is used in a vast number of ways, through water jets, whirlpools, and tidal waves, etc.

Moisture Absorption
- Water Mages cannot create water out of thin air. Instead, another useful tool is moisture absorption.
- This ability allows the user to gradually absorb water moisture from the atmosphere or directly from living beings where it potentially causes dehydration in the source it is stealing from. The amount of moisture an individual is able to store is limited based on their skill in this ability.
- The overall process can be very slow, taking days to really absorb enough water to use. It is, however, easier to absorb moisture from the atmosphere than it is from a living being.
- It makes performing Water Manipulation much more readily available.
- Allows the user’s body to transform into liquid water, their body remaining in the shape of their figure.
- This form would allow regular weapons and most objects to pass through them, unharmed, with a possible tickle.
- How strong the user is in this ability will determine how long they can remain in this state, though the maximum amount of time is ten minutes.
- While this ability grants the user an exceptional amount of safety in many cases, it also poses a potential hazard when used in the presence of other water mages who could easily use Water Manipulation to take control of the user’s body, easily ripping them apart and causing death.
- All Water Mages have the natural immunity to the effects of Burn.
3. Electric Mage
Electric Mages have the ability to shape and manipulate electricity from an existing electric source. This ability is referred to as Electricity Manipulation. The amount of electricity a user can control varies on skill level, the stronger the electric charge the more exertion required and the more difficult to control. The distance between the user and the electric source has a similar effect, requiring more energy from the user the farther they are. This ability allows the user to transfer electricity from object to object. Electricity Manipulation is used in a vast number of ways, through electrical waves, charged lightning balls, and intended touch. Strong electric shocks require an exceptional amount of power. Electricity Manipulation is by far the most exhausting, known to be one of the more demanding elemental magics, requiring more energy from its user than all other elemental manipulations.

Electricity Absorption
- Electric Mages cannot create electricity out of thin air. Instead a useful tool is the ability Electricity Absorption.
- This ability allows the user to gradually absorb electricity from an electric source and utilize it.
- This ability can take a lot of practice and skill to learn. The amount of electricity, as well as how long it can be stored, is dependent on the strength and skill of the user.
- It makes Electricity Manipulation much more readily available.
- It is possible for an individual to absorb more electricity than their individual capacity, causing death to the user.
- A condition caused by a very specific use of Electricity Manipulation. The condition causes another being to be partially or completely paralyzed.
- Paralysis can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few days, depending on the user’s skill.
- This ability cannot be overdone, as the user gets weak after performing it.
- Cure: Electric and Air Mages are immune to Paralysis. Paralysis can also be instantly cured by the spell Restore.
- Creates a dome force field that is highly concentrated electrical energy used for protection.
- How large and how long the force field lasts depends upon the user’s skill level.
4. Fire Mage
Fire Mages have the ability to shape and manipulate fire from an already existing fire source. This ability is referred to as Fire Manipulation. The amount of fire a user can control varies on skill level, the larger the flame is the more exertion required and the more difficult to control. The distance between the user and the fire source has a similar effect, requiring more energy from the user the farther they are. Every individual has their own limits involving distance and size of their fire manipulation ability. Fire Manipulation is used in a vast number of ways, through fire blasts, fire balls, and fire vortex. The stronger the Fire Mage is in their magic the greater they can achieve.

Heat Absorption
- Fire Mages cannot create fire out of thin air. Instead, another useful tool is heat absorption.
- This ability allows the user to gradually absorb heat from a heat source and utilize it.
- A heat source is less specific than a fire source, allowing the user to store heat which can then be used to create fire. This means that there are two major parts of this ability. The first is much easier to learn, the actual absorbing of heat. This could be from something as simple as sunlight. The second and much more difficult part is training to harness the stored heat outward using magic to turn it into actual flames.
- The amount of heat, as well as how long it can be stored, is dependent on the strength and skill of the user. The overall process can be very slow, taking days to really absorb enough heat to use.
- It makes Fire Manipulation much more readily available.
- It is possible for an individual to absorb more heat than their individual capacity, causing death to the user.
- A condition caused by a specific use of Fire Manipulation. The condition causes a living being to experience a burning pain inside their body that weakens them overtime (not to be confused with skin burns).
- Symptoms include: breathing out black smoke, excessive coughing and possibly the presence of physical burn marks
- This condition, if minor, can go away over time, however in severe cases it will require a cure and can be deadly if not treated.
- This ability cannot be overdone, as the user gets weak after performing it.
- Cure: The spell Extinguish or some types of herbal medicine.
- All Fire Mages have the natural immunity to the effects of Freeze.
5. Rock/Ground Mage
Rock or Ground Mages have the ability to manipulate rocks, which are defined as solid mineral materials forming part of the surface. This ability is referred to as Rock Manipulation. The user, unlike many other elementalist, cannot shape or reshape rocks, but only manipulate what is already existing on the surface. They are also unable to create rock minerals out of thin air. The amount of rocks, in both size and number, that a user can control varies on skill level. The larger the rock the more exertion required and the more difficult to control. The distance between the user and the rock they are manipulating has a similar effect, requiring more energy from the user the farther they are.
Rock Mages cannot manipulate any artificial solids or glass.

Quake
- A most powerful ability done by rock mages, violently shaking the ground, likely causing great destruction.
- It is, by far, one of the most difficult abilities for any elementalist to learn, taking years of practice.
- The size and power of the quake is dependent on the user's skill and strength. It can easily tire out the user.
- The user can raise large rocks without physically picking them up and hurl them long distances.
- This is the most basic technique of rock manipulation, with the energy required directly related to the size and location of the rock.
- Allows the user’s body to transform into solid rock, their body remaining in the shape of their figure.
- This form would shield them from regular weapons and objects, keeping their bodies protected.
- How strong the user is in this ability will determine how long they can remain in this state, though the maximum amount of time is ten minutes.
- While this ability grants the user an exceptional amount of safety in many cases, it also poses a potential hazard when used in the presence of other rock mages who could easily use Rock Manipulation to take control of the user’s body, easily ripping them apart and causing death.
6. Plant Mage
Plant Mages have the ability to shape and manipulate plant life. This ability is referred to as Plant Manipulation. The amount and size of plant life a user can control varies on skill level. The distance between the user and the plant life has a similar effect, requiring more energy from the user the farther they are.

Plant Growth
- The ability to accelerate the growth of plant life and thus able to manipulate the plant's movements.
- The actual speed of acceleration is dependent on the user's strength and skill in this ability. It may take seconds for professional mages, others minutes, hours or days.
- Users cannot force a plant to grow in infertile or baron soil.
- Within plant manipulation there are specializations of plants: flowers, vines, trees, crops, grass, etc. Users will have various skill levels dependent on the type of plant they are interacting with.
- No matter the plant type they must, at all times, remain alive and rooted in the ground in order to be acted upon with plant magic. If for some reason they are uprooted the uses loses all ability to control the plant.
- Users cannot create plants or seeds. Plant Mages are powerless in areas without plant life or lacking the potential for them to grow.
- Since trees are wooded plants they are much more difficult than all other plant types. Dead wood, specifically, cannot be controlled. Even for trees the wood must be alive and rooted in the ground to be acted upon.
- All Plant Mages have the natural immunity to the effects of Poison.
