Conjuror or Summoner
Conjurors, also called summoners, study the magic of calling upon and teleporting living beings from across worlds. It is considered the most manipulative magic known in the wizarding world and is likely the most difficult to learn, with some summons requiring multiple users' power combined. Wands and staffs are often used for better precision.
Teleport
Trap
Teleport
- Transfers matter from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them.
- Users may only teleport themselves and any objects or individuals in physical contact with the user. The more matter involved in the teleportation the more strength and skill required. This ability greatly weakens the user.
- Initially users are only capable of teleporting within their line of sight but with enough practice and training the user may teleport greater distances to places they can very specifically visualize. There is a risk of death if the user attempts to teleport to a place that calls for more strength, skill or concentration then they have/are exerting or if they didn't visualize the location with enough detail.
Trap
- Traps a target individual where they are standing or mid-air and prevents movement. Can prevent movement in only certain parts of the body (ie: limbs) or the entire body dependent on strength and skill in the ability.
- Requires intense concentration and energy to hold the individual still for long periods of time. The stronger the target, the harder to achieve.
- Cannot manipulate or move the target's body but can only hold them still in place.
Summon
There are three worlds with which a summoner may pull from.
The first is known as Avernos, nicknamed The Dark Sun. It is a world inhabited by many powerful monsters, unimaginable, unpredictable and uncivilized. Avernos summons are the most common and easiest to learn.
The second known world is Argenelle, nicknamed The Bright Sun or Paradise. Argenelle is home to exceptionally beautiful beings, many who embody divine virtue and cherubic nature. Argenelle summons are considered the most difficult of all the summons.
The third and last known world is Demiticus, nicknamed The Burning Sun, Nexus, The Underworld, etc. Demiticus is populated with sickly, audacious, iniquitous creatures plagued with sinful minds. Demiticus summons, while extremely difficult, are slightly easier to pull from than Argenelle.
These three worlds cannot be accessed by land or sea, for they lie in a whole different realm entirely. No being of Askeron has ever truly visited these worlds.

- Users call upon a being from another world, teleporting it to the user's location.
- Most of the time summoners find themselves connected with one particular being that they have the ability to summon. This affinity towards a specific being is referred to as a Kindred. Kindreds are very special and over time the user can modulate, or harmonize, themselves to the creature to allow them to more easily and readily summon them at will, requiring less energy to do so the stronger the bond. Every user's summon is uniquely theirs.
- Stronger summoners may be able to pull multiple beings, though users are only ever capable of summoning one at a time.
- Summons require intense concentration and energy to perform, more so than any other magic. Users must re-energize before being able to re-summon, and bare in mind that this could mean anywhere from a few hours to several days or weeks.
- After some time, which is dependent on the user's strength, skill and the effort put into the summon, the being will fade away and be returned to their world. Users may recall a summon, though recall is much harder to perform than even the actual summon.
- Summoned beings may experience death, in either world and for whatever reason, by any means.
Recall
- The opposite of summoning, it is the ability to send back a summoned being to where it was called upon.
- Users with exceptional strength, skill and concentration may be able to recall another individual's summon, though it is much harder than recalling their own summon.
- The user is likely to experience weakness and exhaustion after performing, in some cases death.
Avernos Summon
- Users call upon a being from Avernos, teleporting it to the user's location.
- Avernos beings are commonly wild beasts that may or may not turn on the user. Whether they follow any orders or understand language at all varies. Some beings have shown signs of being tamable, though not all are so lucky.
Some Common Avernos Beings Listed Below:
Nothic
A lanky, hunched, olive-green skinned humanoid with a single, enormous, central eye. Its long arms are tipped with claws which drag along the ground as it moves in an awkward hop. It's eye grants it the ability to see through solid objects. It's gaze, if met, can also cause delusional thinking. If eye contact is prolonged it may cause the victim to foam at the mouth and experience rotting disease. |
Displacer Beast
A puma-like creature with six legs and two tentacles growing from its shoulders. This beast has a natural displacement ability, a form of illusion which causes it to appear to be a few feet away from where it actually is. This makes the creature hard to hit, while it attacks with its long tentacles. |
Tarrasque
A tyrannosaurus rex-like form, although it is much more broad and muscular, with a differently shaped head, and with larger and more developed front arms. It has brown/red skin, with scabs and warts. Protecting its back and tail is a thick shell or carapace. It has spikes coming from its chin, the sides of the mouth, the underside of its neck, the elbows of its front arms, and its shell. The creature also has two horns projecting forwards from the top of its head. The tarrasque's skin is very hard and thick, and provides excellent armor. |
Lich
A skeletal humanoid who has no organs and are said to be Avernos spirits which can only be killed through magical means. They are known to pick up and reattach bones that have been detached or broken. Some have been known to wield elemental magic. |
Argenelle Summon
- Users call upon a being from Argenelle, teleporting it to the user's location.
- Argenelle beings are typically virtuous, though still capable of great destruction. Whether they follow any orders or understand language at all varies. Some beings have shown signs of being tamable, though not all are so lucky.
Alicorn
Alicorns are unicorns with feathered wings. They are powerful beings that usually possess great healing magic. Like unicorns, their horn is the source of all their magic and lights up when in use. Removing one's horn will kill them, however they can survive with damage to the horn (broken in half or cracked). Alicorns are sometimes gentle and timid beasts, easily spooked around strangers. A small few are found to be quite reactive and combative. The Alicorn is considered the easiest of all the Argenelle summons, though miraculously rare. |
Iceaux
Iceaux are beautiful, cosmic beings that resemble a small gazelle (about 20-40 inches tall). They range from colors of blue, purple, white and tan. They have three tentacles atop their head that sense sound frequency and can detect the slightest noises or movements. They are high alert animals that let out a soft warble or trill to communicate. Iceaux have the ability to freeze the ground around their hooves and freeze those that dare to put a hand on them. They're very easily startled and cold to the touch. These anxious, magical deer bring quite a lot of wonder and fascination to the world, an easy to love companion. |
Archangel
Archangels are also referred to as Legends. There are only 10 to ever exist at one time on Argenelle. When one dies, they say another is born. They possess an incredible power of light magic with varying abilities. You can easily identify an archangel separate from all other angels by the number of feathered wings they have. Archangels are the only angels to have either 4 or 6 wings on their back. By far, Archangels are the most difficult summon ever. There are only two occasions where an Archangel has been summoned to Askeron. TWO times in the history of the world! Not only that, but it has been deemed impossible for one single individual to summon an archangel. The first time it was done it took 14 wizards and witches combined, resulting in 2 summoner deaths. The second time it was done with only 6, however the event killed 5 of the 6 summoners. |
Demiticus Summon
- Users call upon a being from Demiticus, teleporting it to the user's location.
- Demiticus beings are typically vile and immoral, though still capable of great feeling and emotion. Whether they follow any orders or understand language at all varies. Some beings have shown signs of being tamable, though not all are so lucky.
Ethoquus
The Equoquus is a skeletal horse with two crooked horns atop its head. They are most common black with a glowing light under their skin that either radiates as a bright blue, red or green. These wild horses have sharp teeth and are very much carnivorous. They breath smoke through their nostrils and can run at slightly faster speeds than an average horse, unicorn, pegasus or alicorn. They are not impossible, but quite hard to tame and usually have a very stubborn attitude alongside their aggressive personalities. |
Archdemon
Archdemons are also referred to as Legends. There are only 10 to ever exist at one time on Demiticus. When one dies, they say another is born. They possess an incredible power of dark magic with varying abilities. Unfortunately, there is no definitive way to identify them from other demons. They appear just as any other with their true distinguishing qualities being their power and abilities. By far, Archdemons are the second most difficult summon ever. They have been summoned over a dozen times, however usually require multiple summoners. The first time an Archdemon was summoned it took 10 summoners combined, resulting in 3 summoner deaths. It has been done using as many as 22 summoners but also as little as 3, sometimes with no deaths accounted for and other times several lives are lost. It has been determined that the summoning magic required varies greatly from one Archdemon to another. |
Portals
- Users can create a glyph or rune which act as portals.
- These portals give entrance into The Fade.
