Imp
Imps are lower class demons, standing at around four to five feet tall. All imps have vibrantly colored eyes ranging from green to blue to pink to orange and more. A majority of the time they are without a single hair on their body. Imps with head or facial hair are a rare sighting. Imps always have two horns on the top of their head, though the size and shape of the two horns vary from each individual. They have sharp nails or claws on both their hands and feet. All imps have tails, at least as long as their torso, though generally longer. Their ears are large and angle outward. Their skin is thin and easy to tear or peel off, going through "molting" phases a few times a year. All imps have bat-like wings, which unlike fairies cannot be hidden or sealed away. Their wings are always out and are much more effective than walking. They can remain in flight for hours at a time but cannot fly exceptionally high.
Average Lifespan: 50 years History & Culture
Imps, the lowest ranking demon, are often referred to as the "goblins" of Demiticus. Those on Askeron describe them as a wicked goblin, fairy hybrids, even if they are most certainly not. They are servants and slaves on Demiticus, often bound to a single "master."

However, they seem to be most happy this way, whether it is a cause of nature or nurture. They are very dependent creatures who actually seek out masters, struggling to live alone as they so often panic when unable to receive direction or order from another. They are described as clingy and pestering, easily bored and emotionally unstable. There are always exceptions, but not many.
Imps can teleport so quickly and with such ease that it makes retrieving information and sending it back extremely fast paced. They are used more precisely to warn their masters of what might lie ahead, providing a sixth sense for those they serve. Of course, to teleport to a location they must first have traveled their themselves and be able to re-imagine the location, which is why going in first makes them so useful.
The Imps on Askeron have been known to politely place themselves below the inhabitants of Askeron, falling as servants to humans, wizards/witches and more. As Imps only live to be 50 years of age, not many who are alive today on Askeron have ever seen their homeworld. Some have forgotten its importance, while others remain loyal to their rightful King.
Molting
Imps experience molting between two to six times per year. How frequently this occurs depends on climate, any damage or injury they might have and how old they are, molting more often when they are younger and less as they age. These molting phases involve shedding their skin and occasionally their wings, which means they have to regrow their wings, leaving them vulnerable for a few days (it doesn't take them too long to regrow their wings).

Magic and Abilities
Night Vision
Teleport
- A natural ability to see clearly in low light conditions.
Teleport
- Transfers matter from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them.
- Unlike summoners, imps can only teleport themselves and objects they are in physical contact with but they cannot teleport living beings along with them.
- When young, imps are only capable of teleporting within their line of sight but as they age they may teleport greater distances to places they can very specifically and accurately visualize.
- Teleporting, for an imp, requires very little exertion. They can do it often and without tire.
